Nice one Bas. He's not really broke in the UK, so know little of his music, but what I have heard, think he's a talent. He's more famous for going out with Katy Perry here.

Very nice! Tell me how he is live.

It's been a very long time since I've been to a show myself, I kind of miss it but I've been lucky enough to see quite a few legends.

He's not extremely popular here either, my sister is a big fan though

I've been to some concerts of local orchestras but I've never been to a festival or big concert, I'm pretty excited

I'm here. Been meaning to ask Leo if he might know why my saucer magnolia got only ONE bloom on it this year. Maybe it just got too cold. We had some really low temps pretty late in the winter and it might have killed the blossoms.

We're still having earthquakes nearly every day. Every now and then I notice them, but most of them aren't strong enough to feel much. So weird!

Hi everyone...Ive been just hanging out myself. Been working more nightshifts than usual and its really playing with my natural day time clock. Im feeling the blahs'. I know a lot of coworkers that love nights and only do them. I cant imagine. Would be like a life sentence for me. On the upswing I now have 4 days off and the weather is supposed to be stellar in Ontario. Today is overcast but warm. :-) Yesterday it was sunny and warm..I think I can put the winter down parka away!! Along with the boots!! Wooo hooooo! Otherwise, life is good, everyone is healthy. My mom is slowing down. I noticed she's twitching more and has moments where she walks then all of a sudden stops. She doesn't remember where she was going. A little push and she's back to walking. I took her out to my brothers yesterday and then we shopped. She still remembers how to shop!

Happy Birthday Mikki..

Congratulations Carl on completing your course.! Its done! Is there an advanced course for watchmaking that you might consider taking or will have to take in future? In nursing you complete your basic program & if you want to get in to a specialty i.e.: ICU, OR, etc...you need to take another course for certification. Does that exist in watchmaking?

Lisa, doesn't sound too good down on your parts with mother nature there. Are they gonna stop? Good luck with the plants. You have a green thumb, you should be good. :-)

Wes...COOL location for a bar. I dont suspect looking out is a great idea when the room spins, but to the sober folks, would be a great view. LOL

Bas, have fun at the concert. I only like a couple of his songs. Generally I dont consider him a genius like Katy said one time. Im sure she retracts that quote now.

Leo...doesnt take long to thaw. ;-) I was in just a sweater and flip flops yesterday. LOL I was getting cold by late afternoon when sun went down. But I was NOT taking off the flip flops till I absolutely couldn't feel my toes anymore.

I was at work one day & I noticed a doc wearing a divers watch. I was trying to get a good look at it but we never seemed to circulate near each other. One night shift he was on and it was quiet. He was entering orders. I had my Sub on. I asked him casually....is that a Sea Dweller you're wearing... It had the helium valve on the side which I recognized. He turns smiling and he said yes...and I noticed your sub last week. I had to take a triple look at it because Ive never seen a woman wear one. We both chuckled and we talked watches for a bit then he went back to entering orders. I made a friend. He said he had been active on TRF a few yrs back when he bought his watch and used to post but hasn't in a while. Told him to come back. He said he would be scared to do that.

All..right...Have a great Sunday everyone. Im heading to an afternoon of playing billiards/ cards and Family Feud. LOL Eh, gets me out. There's gonna be about 30 people there.

Dawna, that gif made my brother and I laugh so much we got the habit of imitating it whenever we see each other (sans kiss, that is, I'm faithful to my girlfriend...). Glad to know it made you and Lisa laugh.

Judy, thank you kindly! There's no specialization course I can take around here, I could either follow an Omega or Rolex course in the USA or go to Switzerland and get the official WOSTEP certification but the former would take too much time and money right now whilst the second would be very, very similar to what I just did at my school. I'd rather gain experience for now but would think about the Rolex certification as it could open many doors.

Lisa, I agree with you about your Saucer Magnolia...they do bloom early in the Spring and all it takes is a Hard Frost to knock all the blooms or buds off the branches. There have been a few years here where once they began to bloom out if we got a Hard Freeze you would awake the next morning to all the blooms laying on the ground!!!

Does Leo, or anyone know how to stop cats using my garden as their personal litter tray? Is driving me insane.
