On the Bracelet for a change

I decided to slip the ExpII back on the bracelet for a change and WOW, it's like a whole new watch again.

It actually looks almost 'abnormal' now to see it on the bracelet, as I'm so used to having it on a strap. But I quite like it either way, and I'm happy to have the options.

One thing I've noticed, however... on the strap, the watch pretty much stays in place, whereas on the bracelet I find it slides around a bit more. And I wear mine in the JJ-esque fasion, so it's not too loose.

If you guys want a change of pace, try a strap. It's a very cost effective way to change the look and if you don't like the look or feel, it doesn't break the bank.

JJ, I've always been wearing the real thing. I just like some versatility seeing that I only have one Rolex. Honestly JJ... pick up a leather strap and slide the ExpII on it for a change. A strap won't cost you more than say, $40 or $50 and I think you'll find it a really nice change of pace.

Sorry, John....I've had many a watch on a strap in the past (not Rolex)...never did like them...found them moving all over the place and never could get the buckle dead centre like I do the clasps. Let's say I'm strictly a bracelet man!!

Ah but JJ, there's the rub... you had them on a buckle.

If you put it on a butterfly deployment clasp, you'll find it a whole different feeling. Seriously, my watch when on a strap practically doesn't move. Not nearly as much as when it's on the bracelet.

What you say is true, Johnny...but you're forgetting ONE very important point. I am strictly an ALL ORIGINAL man. The minute I know there is something non-original on my wrist, I feel very uncomfortable. The watch that sits on my wrist must be all factory original....that's just crazy ole' me!!

Then the Breitling must drive you crazy cuz the movement isn't an 'in-house' movement. Sure, it may come from the factory with that movement... but it's not 'all original' is it?

Stuff that in yer pipe and smoke it, baldie.

So what if it's not in-house....it's still been incorporated in the Breitling factory by them and it works like a dream....with spot-on accuracy and a power reserve that blows most watches away!!

By originality, I mean as it came from the place of manufacture. No changes for me after that. Got it, ya tosser?

JJ, I was reading a watch mag last nite.
According to Swiss watchmaker rules, they can only be considered a "Manufacturer" if all parts are made "in-house"
I think your B might have been "assembled"

((I'm trying to make that list))

I really like the Exp II on the black leather. I wonder how the red highlighted carbon fiber would look with the bezel of my GMT? Hmmm.

I think it would look smokin' hot! I got it from watchprince.com. It started off somewhat stiff, but once I wore it enough it became as comfortable as the leather (also purchased via watchprince).

I love the change of pace J, it is always fun.

Don't listen to the peanut gallery, they either get it or they don't.
