Finally
Well, it only took about a week but I finally got it out of the way. I was going through a door tonight and banged my watch on the metal part of the door jam. It felt like my heart stopped. I knew it was going to happen eventually, I was hoping it would have taken a little longer though.
It left a little scratch on the bracelet on the inside of my wrist. Tiny as it is, when I see it (and every time I look at my watch I SEE IT ) it looks like the Grand Canyon. |

CJ,
you are now a true Rolex owner. I like to call all those little imperfections.... character. It is what makes your watch, only yours. Enjoy every bit of character your watch gets. |

You still didnt beat me. 4 days with my Explorer and I smacked it against a door as well. Left a mark on the once shiney bezel. Oh well, life goes on and your watch can take it.

Dont worry about it watches are meant to be worn, and will get a few dings. But they can be polished out on next service, its just a fact of normal life.

CJ,
I can image how you feel. I don't have mine yet, but dreading my first "charater mark". My main hobby, and I can assure you more expenensive that Rolex collecting, is high end gun collecting. I cringe at the charater marks I put on these things. Others I target shoot with don't care about dings and dents, but I like my collection to stay in pristene condition and I work real hard to keep them that way. Richard |
