Bought from Reputable Seller but...
Hey All!
Just bought my first Rolex.... Submariner 16610LV. I bought in on Ebay from a watch dealer with 2000+ positive feedback (100% rating & all sales are watch related). I feel very confident about my purchase; however, I would feel much better about the whole situation if I take it to someone to look at to tell me it is real, and it is in good, working condition. I have 14 days to return the watch if I am not satisfied, so I want to do my due diligence. I live in Seattle, so I called Ben Bridge (Local Rolex AD) and they said they do not do that. They would only send it in to Rolex for appraisal, which would take 10 business days. Do you veterans have any advice to help ease my concerns? Does anyone know of anyone in the Seattle or Pacific Northwest area who could help me or at least talk to? Thanks! - RolexRookie |

Ok, 2000+ Feedback, USA Seller, sold recently.
Must be this one : http://www.ebay.com/itm/2008-Rolex-S...p2047675.l2557 Watch looks straight enough to me. I'd prefer to have the warranty card etc to ensure that the watch left the factory as an LV but it's not really worth a seller to Franken a 16610 yet. |

Thanks guys for the quick responses! Much appreciated. Do any of you think I should look into it further? Or if I wanted to, what would you guys do?

Unfortunately you made a small misstep.
We can't assume it's an lv without the warranty Card. If that doesn't matter to you, no sweat, However there isn't anyway to ensure it's an lv Otherwise. The seller is great and trustworthy. I've completed some relatively large deals with Him with zero issues. |

I agree looks good...I would however find a watchmaker to check it out anyway eg pressure test etc.You paid a fair bit so I guess you did not pay through paypal. I only say that because they have a great money back promise of anything turns out to be a fake.
This is not though Im pretty sure! Enjoy! |

Looks good.
Not having the papers will make it harder to sell in the future, as others said, the papers/hangtag is basically the only thing that proves it is an LV from the start. The case is stamped 16610, not 16610LV. But it probably is a real LV from the start, as it isn't worth the fuzz to get the maxi dial and insert IMHO. Just keep it in mind, if you're a "flipper".

the rsc would confirm what model it was if you were to send it in for a service.
