Customizing a Rolex dial?
Looking for some technical wisdom here. I've been thinking (this usually leads me into trouble) about customizing a Rolex dial, is this not possible? Are the large arabic numerals you see on the new dials, are they glued to the dial making it not possible to remove them? Does anyone know how the hourly markers are attached to the dial?
I was wondering if it is possible to change the hour markers on a Rolex dial? I would want to replace them with alternate hourly markers from the identical dial, so I would imagine having to purchase multiple dials to remove the hourly markers to be swapped out on the dial to be used. Possible? Suggestions as to who could do such a thing? |

Most of the numerals and hour markers have little posts that go through holes in the dial and the end are burnished over on the back side of the dial. If you take a numeral off there isn't much of the post left to re attach the numeral
