8 days in Italy

Hello!

Tomorrow I'm going to Italy, on Tuesday will be my birthday and I'll celebrate it with my wife in Venice. I'll visit also some other cities in Italy.

Is not my first time, will be me second time in this lovely country.

My question, better watch for 8 days in Italy walking and driving around, Rolex Deep Sea or my Breitling B1 quartz?

During my first trip, my wife was wearing a Chopard Happy Sport and I was with me Rolex DSSD.

if you were going to Naples I would really caution you, now, Northern Italy is certainly a different story. Just use common sense and do not forget to visit Malcesine at Lago di Garda...just such a beautiful area. Enjoy

I was last year in Lago di Garda, amazing place!!!

This year my tour will be: Milano, Venice, Firenze, Montecatini, Barolo, Gorgonzola and Milano.

Some wine tasting and to enjoy Italy

Thank you for your comment!

B1 usually is my adventure watch, with the alarm, chrono and everything... nice watch to travel with.

Sounds like a great trip, wish you were going to Turin/Torino as there are a few watch sellers there on chrono24 I would like to know more about.

Yep, Napoli is the only place in Italy that I would not wear a Rolex. And since it's not on the itinerary, enjoy your Deep Sea in Sunny Italy!

Why not Naples? Here's why:

Since you're going to Milan , I recommend Lago di Como. The Bellagio area is really beautiful. Clooney's place is nearby if you care about that.. We visit Garda once a year - can't go wrong there!

Turin is not in the plan, but If I go I'll contact you.

Then I think Rolex will visit Italy one more time

Scary to see how they do it... My Breitling B1 is quite hard to open, so the thieve will need strong hands and practice :) If they try to take my DSSD I will practice my MMA in Italy.

Oh, as long as you're staying in the northern area of Italy, don't worry about wearing your Rolex.

I wore my Milguass GV around Venice and the Veneto last year, while the wife wore an Explorer. Stayed at the Hotel Cipriani and the new Aman Canal Grande. Now worries there, but I did get my credit card details stolen somewhere along the way...never let your card out of your sight.
