Anyone speak to Bob Ridley lately?
Hi Guys:
First off, I don't want to start any alarm... Bob has been professional and a rare gem in the Rolex repair world. But has anyone spoken to him lately? I've been trying to find him (via email & telephone) for a few weeks without success. Thanks in advance... Chris |

Been conversing with Barbara the last couple days. I'm sure Bob is just busy as ever.

Bob is always very busy due to the demand for top notch services on vintage Rolex. He is just about done with my Sub ref. 6205 and I can't wait to see the finished product from his highly professional care. Barbara is the best. Bear with them... It's just those two I think. It's all good now and always with Mr. Ridley.

He has two of my watches right now a 6262 and a 5513, so sounds like he is very busy and I get regular updates.

actually, Bob recently posted that he has brought on a watchmaker to help him, so wait times for servicing should improve. who knows about electronic communications...

I talked to him 3 days ago. He is working on a Tudor for me. I think all is well with Mr. Ridley.

What is the avrg turn around with Bob?
My 6694 I just got goes dead after 10 hours :C Also, how does his prices compare to other rolex watch repair places? I don't really need any fancy work done. Just movement service. |

I spoke with Mr. Ridley by phone last Friday to get an update on the restoration of my Sub 6205 that is very close to being completed. He was his usual very friendly and knowledgeable self and spent all the time necessary to provide me with whatever details I was interested in regarding the restoration process. Such a gentleman. I will be forever grateful to have Bob Ridley affiliated with my vintage Submariner. Can't wit to get it back and post pictures for all to enjoy.
