AP vs Richard Mille

Anyone watching the French Open Finals today? I see Nadal wearing his RM but can't tell the model, only that it has a red strap, anyone know which model it is?

Guess Djokovic usually doesn't wear his AP during the match.

Should be a great match-up!

Ah, didn't realize that Djokovic is now a Seiko ambassador. Will keep an eye out and see if he wears a Seiko at the end of the match today

No mention on his own website off AP,
Only Seiko
Must be mad, but the fickle world of sport sponsorship i guess,
Much like Rory mcilroy, going to omega with nike

What a great match.

Looks like Nadal's whole team is wearing RM...his uncle looked like he was wearing a RM11 black kite?

Yes fantastic match. I also noticed his team had a few RMs on as well, guessing they are not all RM 027-01s though.

It's usually Ti 010 and 011 in Rafa coaching and family team.

RM make brilliant job with sport endorsement beacuse RM ambassadors actually wear RM models during matches (Rafa, Bubba, Romain, Yohan...) and that's hours and hours of product placement every single day...

Hate to break it to you, but all athletes are that way. McElroy was AP, switched to Omega...why...$$$.

No surprise, as it's how they make their money.

You think Nadal is wearing RM because he likes it--um, no. He likes the $$ he's getting for wearing it.

If Djokovich wore an AP during the match it'll likely break

Really why ?

RM is NOT known for their quality, so I think an AP would be just fine.

I think a ceramic Diver would be perfect.

Ambassador is a silly term, they are sponsored athletes, give them enough money and they'll put their name on pretty much anything.

I'm buying into the marketing hype but suspension cables in a watch sounds tennis friendly :)

Well at least you recognize it for what it is "marketing hype". Forbes--the authority on watches

Plus let's be candid--why do you need to wear a watch while playing tennis?

If I was targeting the 500k a watch audience, Forbes would be it:)

Same thing speaking of ambassadors in my country. They do nothing for salary 10x better than doctors and lawyers... and give them opportunity and more money to represent Chad, Uganda, Burkina Faso they will do it with a smile on their face :)
