I agree with the ALS recommendation. Their styling fits my likes better than PP and I already have an AP. If you are spending DD kind of money, it's worth spending some time looking at these other brands before you part with the cash.

Its one thing to recommend another brand and try to educate you on new stuff and give you potions etc.

Its another to crap on something you might buy.
