Need new bracelet for airking and datjust.
Hello forum. I am sitting here and just decided to place other "aftermarket" bands on some of my watches. Can someone tell me where to get the same look of the originals. I obviously do not want to pay for the original bands. The only reason I am changing them is to protect (keep pristine) the bands that came with the watch. Please PM me if you have a good website. Thanks again.

Far from me to tell you what to do with your own watches but why not wear the original bands? I get that you want to keep them looking nice but you could always have them polished back to new look when you have them serviced.
Just trying to figure out why you'd want to "cheapen" your Rolex with an aftermarket bracelet. If you are changing up to leather, I like Crown & Buckle. |

I agree...this is a little silly. Why would you want to deny yourself the satisfaction of wearing the watch that you paid good money for by replacing the factory bracelet with a cheap aftermarket? Wear the watch and enjoy it, when it eventually needs to be refinished, send it in and have it re-brushed.

Agree with all above. Besides I doubt any aftermarket bracelet will look like original. All your going to do is make your Rolex look like a cheap fake. Get a leather strap if you really want to "protect" your bracelet, but I'm going to say this doesn't make sense to me.

This thread reminds me of my mom insisting on using a steering wheel cover to save the leather on the wheel. She drove the car for 7 years with a cheap steering wheel cover. Never got to enjoy the original, but it looked like new when she got rid of the car... I agree with the others; wear the original and have it polished later on. To each his own.

When your aftermarket cheapo bracelet fails and your prized watch falls off your wrist and lands face down on the concrete you'll wish you'd kept the original band on it.
I have to agree 100% with all of the above responses, it's silly to remove it, for the reason to keep it pristine? Scratches do suck but they are a part of this crazy hobby that we're in. If you must though maybe a quality rubber strap for several hundred $$?

If you can't stand scratches, go NATO/leather. I will join the chorus and say that wearing an inferior bracelet while keeping a pristine bracelet in a safe for someone else to maybe enjoy later is incomprehensible to me.
