Icon20 Day-Date Leather Strap Question

Hey guys,

I just inherited my father's Day-Date, it has the classic presidential bracelet. I was wondering if any of you know if its possible to order/buy one of the leather straps that now come with the new DD models. Im hoping to be able to switch out the gold bracelet for a leather one, makes it easier to blend in where I live.

Thanks !

Absolutely! I'm doing the same with my vintage gold datejust. The local boutique had the straps in stock but had to order the buckle. Your local boutique/AD can do the same for you!

I have a Day-Date that I bought without the bracelet. I called Rolex NY and was quoted $350 for the crocodile strap and $1350 for the 18k buckle and tang. Not sure about the price of the deployment buckle. I was also told I would need to send the watch in because the won't sell the strap and buckle to you unless they put it on. I was able to source an OEM buckle and Strap off Ebay for $299 and $262 respectively. Hope this info helps. Cheers!

you can get a strap but not like on the new models they have endlinks and they only go with specific models, you will have to have the leather strap with no endpieces old style
