Its been a while friends
My fellow TRF'ers,
It has been a loong time since I last added a thread and just wanted to give a hello and updates. I am on my way out of the military. Gave my dad my SD 16600, he was speechless. Well, actually his words were, "Whoa, I would have never thought I would have ever owned a watch like this...Thanks." Gave up my Pam 112 and got a Pam 57C instead. Getting it serviced now by Alfred of LaxWatches.com. He sold me the Pam 112 and it was great transaction. But about three weeks ago he informed me that my wife's DJ 16200 had some major issues with the movement. And we decided to move forward to get it a major rehaul on it. So, he said he ordered some parts from Rolex and he ill informed to me that there was a delay in getting the parts. Well, the delay for both the watches (Pam 57c and DJ) being serviced is now 2 months! I dont know if that is normal or what..but I do miss and want them soon, more like asap. Well, thanks all and I am holding out on watches right now. Trying to purchase a home. But when the funds come back, got my eye on some two tone pieces. Take care, and let me know what you think about the servicing..not sure what to think. |

Welcome back.
Two months isn't a huge amount of time. Depends on how deep he is in work. I've had to wait that long a few times.

Thank you for your service. You are right to focus on the home purchase right now, more watches will come.
As to the watch service, two months is on the longer side of normal, but not outrageous. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

To all,
Thanks for your gratitude. I lay here awake at 0400 with one less worry on my mind. The other worries are towards the home. Anyone know of reliable, honest contractors in the Northern San Fran area? I've got some leads but since my time military my trust for others has been severely diminished. Respectfully, Francisco |
