Correlation of power reserve and accuracy

Hello folks!

The 31XX movements have one barrel - so I was wondering if anyone has tested their movements to check whether there is an accuracy drop near the end of the power reserve - say when there are maybe 2 or 3 hours worth of juice remaining?

Have a great weekend!

Sumit

In general most movements will speed up a tiny bit when the power reserve is nearly depleted. But the mainspring on most all the Rolex oyster watches except the chronographs, have a power reserve of around max 48 hours min 39 hours give or take a hour or so.

I noticed this especially on my Panerai 233. When it reached the end of the 8 day reserve it would speed up considerably.
