OMEGA Boutique in-store service
Just an FYI: The OMEGA Boutiques are instituting on-site technicians who can pressure test, rate check, and regulate watches in the store. The Beverly Center (Los Angeles) location already has theirs. I had my Aqua Terra 8500 rate tested last month when I went for the 2014 Basel previewing.
I just got back from there this morning and had my Seamaster Pro 300M 2220.80.00 regulated because it was running fast (+10 sec per day in my rough testing; +7.1 sec per day according to the machine). Not all boutiques have a tech right now, so call first. I was told that most of the US boutiques will have a technician on staff by early 2015.

May ask what the cost was to do the testing?

Yeah, I learned this as well. The Roseville location said they would have on-site tech services. I think they were shooting for end of Summer.

Free.
NYC is the exception to everything since all the watch brands do more for their NYC locations than any other in the US.

That's nice! I've always liked that the Seattle boutique has a full service center in the back. They've never charged me to run a pressure test or accuracy test. Heck, they've even replaced spring bars and done bracelet resizing for free.

Indeed, they also have an on-site technician at the Short Hills, NJ boutique. Arthur adjusted the bracelet of my Moonwatch last week.
Super nice guy and eventually they will also be trained to change a bezel. Any job more involved will have to be sent to the service center... Which is just a few miles away in Secaucus. |

I left my FOIS at the Atlanta Boutique on June 26th for warranty repair and got a call this morning that it had returned and was ready for pickup. Eighteen days from start to finish is not bad service.
I was told by corporate that the Seattle center gave Boutiques priority and from all reports, the Seattle center is the best. I will ask about on-site service when I pick up my FOIS. |
