2870 Value Question?
Is the 2870 undervalued or not? They seem to be going for "only" 20 - 30G (on a good day. It seems they should be in the 50-100G range. First of all they are made by AP. They are historic, being the first automatic and thinnest tourbillon made at the time. And just being a tourbillon seems like it should make it more expensive. It has been said they are difficult to work on, but so are many other watches. What am I missing in the value equation?
Thank you so much for your input. |

Not too sure, could it be the look of the 2870? She don't look appealing to me...With that price I will go for the RG RO or ROO....

Not sure either. I like the look. Visible tourbillon. Visible winding pendulum. Sunburst pattern on dial. Unique. Collectible? To each his own.
