While the 1921 is stunning, I think the Patrimony is a bit more versitile, and it looks great in pt. I would be very happy with either though, love all things VC.

I am now confused again, I'm concerned about possible resale on the 1921. They don't really come up so it's hard to say how big a hit I'll take buying new. My AD has had this one for a while so I'm sure I can get a discount on it but at the same time it feels dumb to buy a piece like this and then it drops half the value versus something like a LNIB AP...

If you buy a VC new you will take a hit on resale, this goes for most watches, except some Patek's and Rolex'. On the other hand you will probably get a good discount.

If you wear the 1921 you better not be in any rush, you have to get the watch angle just right everytime! lol!

Tough call between the 2 VCs; really like the cushion case...

#2 the VC Patrimony for me very simple non cluttered dial, and a great color combination...very easy on the eyes.

It would be a toss up between the two VCs for me. I went with the 1921 because of it's uniqueness.

Patrimony is more beautiful but the 1921 is unique.

Good choices either way.
They are perhaps the most recognizable VCs with the overseas.
