Oyster 6426

Been offered this Oyster 6426 locally, and just wanted to run it up the TRF flagpole first. It's a 2 mill serial, so circa late 60s. Bracelet is folded links not riveted. No lume anywhere apparently. I like this ref as it was the last one to just say "Oyster" on the dial, and I think it ran from the 50s to around 1989.

These watches were available for $700-1000 for awhile
Until about a year ago when their valuation mysteriously doubled.
It's a nice time piece, but understand you're getting in
After the swell.

Looks nice to me. Linen dials always catch my eye.

I don't think you'll find a better example at that price. There are many available in the $900 range but they are nowhere near as nice.
