Icon20 Faded Bezel Inserts Matte or Glossy Dials ???

Hello my fellow Rolex Forumers, I have seen several gilt ( gloss ) 1675 GMT with faded inserts that look awesome....... then again i have seen matte dial Subs with faded inserts that look awesome.........
Question , do faded bezel inserts ( naturally aged ) look better ( match ) with glossy dials ( WG surrounds ) or matte dials opinions please ???? Posted pics will also help Thanks.........

Not a 1675, but this thread shows what happened when I switched from faded to new on the 16710 and some reactions to it.

Not a 1675 huh ? the early Gmt from 1960 s were gilt ( Glossy ) dials and most of those have beautiful faded bezel inserts. Keep in mind most faded inserts do still have some sort of gloss to them. here is a nice borrowed pics of a 1675 gilt ( Glossy Dial ) with a faded too denim / copper bezel insert . Patina matches perfectly.........

I was talking about my watch not being a 1675. I posted the link anyway as you asked about GMTs with white gold surrounds and how they look with faded bezels.

Anyone with a matte dial 1675 or 16750 with a nicely faded bezel insert care to post a pic ???

Not a GMT, but here's my Tritium 14060…

With a Faded insert….And without…You be the judge…

To be honest I've been thinking about replacing the insert on mine. It is a bit scratched and I'm not sure if I like the faded look. My GMT is 54 years old. I just got it back from a service and cleaning at ABC.
Hope this is the type of picture you were looking for.

Faded inserts can look great with matte or glossy dials. Here's my 15-year-old 16710 as proof.
