Yes and the Gmt's fat font insert gives the watch a quite different look too.

I love it, it reminds my vintage super fat font faded inserts.

I already own a 16610 LV, so I think the LVC would be redundant.

Well here are my two that go together.

Or not.
I love them because they are at total opposite ends of the spectrum.
The 214270 is THE classic, understated, Rolex that often is overlooked by the more popular models such as the Sub or Daytona. When I want something simple, elegant, and discrete this is my go to watch. You just cannot go wrong with this watch. Goes with everything. The 116613lb, well it's totally different- it's a sub, it "looks" like a Rolex, the TT makes it stick out along with the sunburst dial and bigger size on my wrist. This is the "fun" watch and surprisingly it goes well with dressier clothes. Both I feel like have amazing dials- the exp 1 appears to be a simple black, but in sunlight it can change to a gray which is offset by the hour markers and the polished 369 numbers. The sub-c? Sunburst dial- need I say more? And I think it looks great with the blue ceramic bezel.

I feel like these two pair up nicely as they have such different personalties. Somedays, I have one on and I want the other one! I am really fortunate to be able to have these two pieces and I really love them both, even though they are really quite different. Both were pieces that sang to me when I first tried time on for the first time. For my second piece I really struggled with what to get so as not to overlap the same look of the Exp 1 (a ss model with a black dial). At one point I was considering the Hulk, but in the end I knew that it would be another SS model and a chance encounter with the TT sub-c made me fall in love with it so here I am today with a TT model (and I started out here HATING TT).

They look great together! I must admit, I think my 116710LN and 116610 LV compliment each other beautifully too!

Variety is good. Even though you may argue it isnīt much of variety actually - but I like this trio:

Thank you for sharing your watches and story.

The pair you have is a wonderful combination. I especially adore your 116613 LB. One of the best watches Rolex has ever produced in my opinion. That one is on my list of next Rolex purchases.
