My GMT Master II

Has broken , I hardly ware it at all, yesterday I tried to adjust the time and on pulling out the Adjuster to the furthest position it just turned the Minute hand, the Hour hand stayed almost still

Not dropped at all, the watch was bought in 2012 and has had virtually no use, however I did notice the adjuster was very stiff on the furthest setting it needed a good firm pull from day one.
Anyone got an idea of repair cost please?. Thanks

2 Year Old GMT Master broken

OK it was still under warrantee so sent it back to the jeweller , verdict was , it needs a centre wheel & cannon pinion,
WHY with virtually no use?.
Can someone show me what these things are/do?. thanks again.

Watch coming back in 2 weeks with extended 1 year warrantee.

The gear that is most likely broken is the hour jumping spring and gear which has to be replaced. The parts have been back ordered for sometime havent tried to order lately hopefully they caught up with production. It is unfortunatley an issue for this calibre. Rikki

I have never seen a canon and center wheel break on this model it's the hour jumping spring and gear most likely. Rikki
