Easily the BLNR. I must add that I'm biased as I'm not a big overall fan of Panerai & their goofy crown guards. I do like the 512.

OP: Post the same poll on the Panerai forum…if they vote less than 1:11 -> you have a winner. :)

Or even better, post the same on any other watch brand forum not being Rolex or Panerai...

Not better at all, because you have no control of the "fanboy" bias. At least you know when you target a dedicated watch brand forum.

50% agreed lol... It's still the same as posting here with the opposite result regardless being a dedicated watch brand avoiding "fanboys" or not...

I expected it would be a completely one sided poll when I made this thread. I just wanted to get some outside perspective.
Im leaning towards the BLNR but I go back and forth whether or not the BLNR and the Sub C are redundant and make sense in the same collection. I know they are different and have different functions, but I wonder if its enough for that amount of money. In the end, the BLNR's bezel, date window, and PCL are probably enough to justify the difference. I've also considered Evo6's suggestion of flipping the Sub to fund a BLNR and get the 312 or another PAM. Or I can just be patient and get the BLNR first and pick up a PAM down the road since I plan to own one anyway. |

I like Evo's suggestion.
Personally would flip the Sub and Oris, get the BLNR and a Luminor of some sort. Not necessarily the 312 but something like a 105 or 111. |

Had a 312 and currently own BLNR. 312 is a beautiful watch but is a bit clunky on the wrist. I like the mixed collection. Try another Panerai model with the Luminor case. BLNR is a great watch. Good luck.

Joe- How are you liking your Sub C and BLNR in the same collection?
If I went Luminor case it would be the PAM 111. The 312 is on my radar because of the brushed case, date function, and in house movement. I havent worn it more than 30 seconds though so I cant make a great judgement on how comfy it would be on the wrist. |
