Thunderbird Bezel changing Question
Hi, I'm new here, so please be patient with me if this question has come up before. I have been searching the net for an answer to this question without any success to this point.
How do I switch my present gold rotating bezel for a gold fluted stationary bezel. I have owned my Rolex for 20 years and frankly would like a different look without the expense of a new / used Rolex. Thanks in advance for your help. |

I would expect that it presses on the same as it would a regular DJ.
However, with the cost of a Gold bezel, you might be better off to just get yourself an older DJ to wear when you get the urge..

Thank you all for the input so far. Can anyone please tell me the size / mm of the bezel I need. I see all these different sizes of bezels used, so it can become quite confusing. Based on the little I know I am leaning toward a 36mm bezel. Thank you in advance, I appreciate your help !

I dont believe they make a standard bezel to replace the turnograph bezel. I not positive but haven't seen it done. Rikki

If a DateJust bezel will work then it is indeed 36 mm; the question is will a DJ bezel work. Quote:
If so, one would think a DJ bezel would work.

If it has a step on the rehaute, which it probably has, you will need a Fluted or Smooth bezel with the negative step cut into it.
