If it bothers you then replace the crystal and be done with it. Yeah its gonna cost you but a good time alsways does so dont worry about it.

Crystal can always be changed I did the a crystal and hand change with the Explorer II I bought in April the question is did you pay too much for what you got considering its condition?
It's a great watch and I love mine http://s1266.photobucket.com/albums/...xplorerChris/?

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Beside, except the user, no one really cares about the minor dents on your watch. Other people won't examine it, and say, 'oh my god, there are tiny dents at 48th minute...'
I used to get a bit paranoid about scratches and dents, but unless you lock it up in a safe (or keep it with your AD and save the $), wear and tear is expected. At the moment, I have about half a dozen of watches kept at my AD, will try to pick them up one by one every year!

Sounds like you were looking to buy a brand new used watch. I sell pre driven Lexus and there's a few people that I run into that are super picky and start noticing the tiniest imperfections. Then they get a dose of reality when I take them over to the new car side and they see the price of something that doesn't have any imperfections, They get that sticker shock that reminds them really quickly why they were looking at a pre owned car to begin with and all of the sudden all the imperfections they saw before disappear. Used watch means someone owned it, wore it and now your getting a good deal on it. Enjoy your beautiful watch and don't bother the guy who sold it to you.

Does not appear that it was in "mint" condition. I would be frustrated, too.
