Yeah, I saw that too when I was there a couple of years ago. Pretty unbelieveable to Rolexes in such a place.

Steve: those are amazing photos. I've been to China and Thailand, but never Japan, and I gotta say, that store and those displays are truly strange, even for Asia. Uniquely Japanese, in your opinion? And I join Steve(Tardis) in having to ask, are they for real.....??
best, dan

My list is complete......gha

When I visited Japan a few years back, I saw that they sold small cars in the grocery store as well.

How are the prices?
So if the numbers on the tags are in Yen, aren't we looking at $428.00 for a no date Sub?

In round figures 100Yenn = USD$1

So the no-date Sub was USD$4280 in round figures.

I said, sheet, not sheep and certainly not sh@#!t.

Wooooow, the dollar sure has weakened by a lot.

I remember when the exchange rate used to be about 125 yen to 1 US dollar just a few years ago...

You said it. I work for an export company and we're really feeling it. In such a short time the dollar went down from 55 to 41! That's a huge drop in revenues!
