I like the progression in patina. Perfect examples, each of them.

Allan knows what a beautiful 666 looks like - he was nice enough to trade this one to me

Forgive me, but why buy 4 of the same watches? I don't get it

Like a child - each has its own unique character. Some of Wayne's SDs are matte dial others are gloss dials, each one with beautiful varying patina.

Sometimes it's hard to explain this phenomenon…
I call it hobby… or maybe 'fetish'?

Thanks Russ! I like the analogy you have used
In my mind, my SDs are more like finely aged wines, each has its own unique character

Agreed. 4 is a horrible idea.

That's why I purchased 5 1665s.

They are each unique. Patina, dial MK, condition, insert type and shade.

Great shot Russ. The water on the case, the insert, and the lighting are awesome.
