I think you need a real mindset to do things like that (and a steady hand) I used to be a dental tech. and that kind of intense work can drive you crazy!

Servicing your won Rolex (or any watch for that matter) isn't hard. All you need is to graduate watchmaker school, purchase a lot of tools and equipment (for a rediculous amount of money), set up a decent workspace in your home away from distractions and potential contaminates and the time and determination to actually do it.
