Oyster clasp on 16610 Sub is locking weak?

Hello all,

Question for the experts? My clasp, not the safety latch, is weak in locking. Now I know as long as the safety latch is secure it should be fine in my usual wear.
I would like to make the latch tighter when I close the bracelet before I lock the safety latch. I've had other Oysters without the safety latch and I seem to remember reading that if you took the scissor closest to the clasp and slightly bent it towards the clasp this would tighten the lock?
Does anyone know if this is true for the Sub clasp and if not how do I tighten it so it has a nice snap to it when closed.
Thanks for the help and advice,

Sc

"How To Tighten Your Rolex Buckle." Sorry no link. I found it searching Rolex Clasp Tighten. How the author kills so much time explaining is beyond me.
Increase the curvature on the blade attached to the cover (the one with the crown you scratch on your desk).

1. Go to the Rolex Reference Library on the TRF home page.
2. Click the sticky called Amateur Watchmaker's Corner Volume I.
3. Scroll down to post #8.
4. Read, execute, and be happy!

Awesome, thanks who posted. I remember reading somewhere that was possible. I'll give it a try and live on.
