Ceramics question

Does anybody know if the process for creating the ceramic case of the Tudor Fastrider Black Shield is the same as the process for making the ceramic bezels found in Subs, GMTs, etc?

I'm not surprised nobody has answered tho question. The process of building a Tudor seems quite mysterious, as to where it's done (is it in the actual Rolex plants, or somewhere else?) and a detail like this would be really interesting to know. I've been wondering about how Tudors are made since their return to the US market. Since they've started to show more on how they build Rolex Oysters, maybe they'll do some similar marketing w/Tudor. But I wouldn't hold my breath.

I don't know if this will help or not but Omega has a youtube video of a Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon being built from bare ceramic to completion. It's case is a single block of black ceramic.

Not sure about the Tudor.

Wow, that was an awesome video indeed. If that DSOM was a little smaller, I may be able to pull it off... well that and the cost...

Very neat video! Now I know Tudor's Black Shield is stated to be made I think by "injected ceramics" instead of "ceramic plied by coating" however I honestly have no idea what either means in terms of how it's made.

IF we actually went to the moon :) Funny no other country has put a human on the moon even to this very day, but we "did" in '69 with less technology than a cell phone today.
