Time is the constant in all of our lives. The passage of it should be observed with some ceremony. A Rolex brings that ceremony to time. A tribute to things man has built over time.

86,400 seconds in a day
Why not mark each one on a Rolex

I have a collection, and no collection of swiss watches is complete without a Rolex or two.
I recommend them highly.

"The inclement weather today precludes the use of my building's helipad, and Miss Johansson has retained my key to top floor's express elevator. Thus, today I'm forced onto this utilitarian conveyance. On the chance of needing to share it with someone such as yourself my driver suggested I wear his timepiece in order to blend in..."Slumming it" I believe he called it...during the transit from the basement garage, as he will have today's Patek delivered upstairs. So you see, your question would be better directed at him, and even though his attempt at choosing appropriate wrist wear for this activity failed as evidenced by your speaking to me in an inappropriate fashion, he deserves credit for making the attempt. What's your excuse? This is your floor. Good bye."

"hey, why a rolex watch, I'm just curious?"

Well, to be completely candid, because Patek Philippe prices have been out of reach for me.

No, seriously now - I have found that people who take the time to see the exquisite and intricate movement underneath the dial are instantly addicted to their Rolex. Take a few moments at your nearest Rolex dealer and you'll know better than I can explain it in half a minute.

I used this the other day as a joke to a friend.

86,400 seconds in a day. You can count that with your watch ticks.

To me, I'm forced to live in the moment.

If someone would just walk up to me and ask "hey, why a rolex watch, I'm just curious?" I'd think he needs to have his head examined...

For me personally, it's that Rolex literally makes everything.... Where else can you get an iconic, in house made watch, not just movement for under 10k (Sub/GMT etc)? Think about it.. Most watch brands only really make either their in-house movement and case, or, they are a true manufacturer and make everything.. Blows my mind how many high end brands outsource their dials, bracelets, hands, crystals etc and just pull the watch together..

IMO Rolex is actually a great value watch..

Only a couple small complaints. Instead of using only 1 or 2, she has a tendency to use every towel available when using my office bathroom to shower. Also, if she helps herself to one of my shirts from the wardrobe in the bedroom suite to be wearing to greet me when I arrive, her other clothes are strewn about the entire place, leaving them lay where she drops them. Not to nitpick, but one morning I almost tripped on a frilly thing just stepping inside through the express elevator door.

It's a blitzkrieg. They've got that pitch on their home page too.

It's hard to go past the story featuring the intriguingly untidy Ms Johansson, however since I don't own an office block, I would probably say:

I like quality, and I like beauty, and a Rolex watch means that an ordinary bloke like myself can have both on my wrist ALL day. (and all night if I wish)
I could tell you a lot more if this building had more than two floors.
