How to get your Wife involved with Rolex and Tudor watches!
How to get your Wife or Significant Other involved with Rolex and Tudor watches!
This may be considered somewhat underhanded, but, by God, it works...At least for me so far! Having several watches in rotation and currently enjoying Coke and Pepsi GMTs on Nato straps it's tough to keep up with winding (I know, buy a winder, but then I wouldn't have this story to tell)...Brainstorm, after forgetting to wind one of them I called my wife and asked here to wear one while I was at work...Good idea, she said (credits me for once), and she wore either the Coke or Pepsi as needed...I had the Coke bracelet refinished by Michael Young and once I put it back on the GMT I gave her the Pepsi on the Nato strap and she wears it every day and nearly everywhere we go. A watch winder wife is pretty awesome with the additional benefit that you get to see your watch worn and cared for. It doesn't hurt that she is actually concerned about nicking it up. The only problem I can see is when she spots a nice faded purple dial on a gold Sub, then it really will cost me! Shouldn't have shown her that one! |

Also, what good does it do me if she knows how many and what watches I have if we end up divorced....

I have a bracelet specifically sized for my wife to wear my TT GMT's. I just swap the bracelet and she's ready to go. She has her own Rolex's and could care less but it makes me happy.

It was easy. She needed a watch that was easier to read than her Tag, and I needed a winder for my 14060.
Perfect match....she even likes NATO straps!! |

In OP's case, a problem shared is a problem halved... and a pleasure shared is a pleasure doubled!
