I'd do it if you really like the WG Daytona over SS. The upside is more dial options.

Unfortunately your poll doesn't make sense.... 116509 as option one.. and 116520 + 116610LV +2k cash as option two... Thats kind of the same thing, either way you are obtaining the 116509? Excuse me if I have misunderstood this...
Anyway, I wouldn't swap an SS for WG of the same model, unless you really REALLY love WG.. How much do you like your current Dayona in SS? If you love it and wear it lots, then maybe stepping up to WG will be a good thing. If you don't wear it all the time due to rotating your pieces. Then maybe trading them all for a WG Daytona isn't such a good idea. Its your call buddy Let us know what you decide! Dino

I'd rather have the SS watches and $2k in the pocket.

Two SS sport watches and $2K. If it were a Day-Date, then I would go with the precious metal option.

My Daytona is the watch I wear every day. If I have worn a different watch to work, I change into it when I get home.
I am seriously considering going white gold on the Daytona. I just sold my other Rolex (Explorer II) that I admired but didn't wear. I agree if you wear it most of the time, upgrade it. But if rotation or variety is your thing, don't. I am loving simplicity right now so it makes sense to me. But if history is any indication, I'll keep hunting anyway. |

I think what he is saying is: WG Daytona, or keep the other two plus the 2k$. OP. My vote personally. WG. Hells yeah.

I'd keep the two you have. Those are two really special pieces, and I don't think the WG Daytona is different enough from the SS.
Now if you had said Smurf instead of WG daytona...then this poll would be a lot harder. |

Sounds like you're getting a pretty good deal for your two to me. I'd definitely do it. You can always trade back if you're unhappy...but I doubt it.

First I want to thank you all for the replies!
I'm a bit confused, want the precious metal, love the Daytona and the only option for doing it, it's by trading those pieces... My wife doesn't like the hulk, so trading it seems to be the right thing. What would you do? Ami |

If I could add a third option, it would be to sell the SS Daytona, keep the LVC and save for the WG Daytona.
Otherwise, I'd rather have the two SS models. |

Personally, no. But I'm not you. Reach out with your feelings, Luke.
If you are thinking seriously about it then you've already made the decision; go for it. |
