Rolex Travel
Hi I am travelling tommorrow by plaine . I am thinking of taking both my rolexes with me ( GMT C and SUB C ) . How do you transfer your rolexes with safe without talking the big rolex green box with you ?
!!!!! To wear both of them is not an answer !!!! I am thinking to put my SUB C to a small plastic bag and then to my hand bag ... |

You can probably go to an AD and ask for a shipping coffin.

Too late i am flying in 6 hours and right now is midnight
i should buy one Oakley Watch Vault ! I dont think that a 6000euro watch is safe on the luggage. many friends of mine lost their laggage during a trip cause of airline mistakes |

Why on earth would you travel with the Rolex box? Just stuff it in a sock.

Put it in a thick sock and carry it on. I would NOT leave it in checked luggage.

Whatever you do, make sure you carry it on the plane. Don't check it in your luggage.

I roll up a washcloth and close the bracelet around it. Then stuff in a sock and put it in my carry on.

don't check it. sock or soft pouch and stick it where you can find it in an instant. I like my go to supplies in my toilet bag/dop kit.

Thanks for your answers ! I will put my sub c on hy handbag in a small plastic bag !
I know that is legit to travel with one watch but no one will be home for the next two weeks so I feel safer to have a 6k watch on my hotel safe than on my home ! |

I would take only one Rolex. If you insist on taking two, then wear one on each wrist while traveling if you can wear a long sleeve dress shirt.

ALWAYS, ALWAYS in your hand luggage and NEVER in your checked bags. That's the only important point. After that all you want to do is prevent them from scratching against things while moving, or stopping the case back getting scratched up etc.
Wrap it up in a sock or a cloth. I usually wrap it up in a microfiber cloth and put it in a small zipped pouch. They type the airlines give you with your eye shades and socks haha. You don't need much. |
