Do people actually use the time zone functions? I usually know in my head how many hours I am ahead or behind from home - and can add it or back it off from the current zone in a split second by eye. Heck, I just look directly across the dial when I'm in Europe (I live in EST). It (and chronos) are more of a novelty function IMHO. That said, I'm getting a BLRO because it just looks cool.

For me its a no contest.... Forget resale or how well its doing in the market, going on what feels and looks good on my wrist I would say the WG SkyD beats the WG pepsi.. I have the WG SkyD and love it when its on my wrist.. Feels amazing and heavy with a real presence and a clever complication... Its a real classy looking watch..
As for the GMT I have an awesome 34yr old 16750 with lovely patina which I love to wear at work with its history, the WG version does nothing for me and looks abit sterile, A WG Sub it will never be in my opinion... Just my opinion. |
