Valuation Cost and time
Hi
Just wondering what is an acceptable cost and time for the valuation of a pre-owned watch? Ie a ring would be $80 and completed while you wait. I understand mechanical watches are infinitely more complex....as such how long would a mechanical watch take to value? Thanks! |

I pay $50/watch. Don't know what the Australian rate would be.

I paid < $100 to do 2 rings, 1 bracelet, and 10 watches a couple months ago. Local jeweler charged me only hourly labor rate. It varies widely. Call around. Helps a lot if you have a local independent and have a relationship with them.
