X2!

This happens to me too, i wonder what the time is, look at my watch and stare a while then continue what I was doing only to realise I forgot to read the time and go for a second look.

My daughter was born this Monday at 12:33pm... I looked at my Submariner to note the time

Full disclosure...I rarely know what time it is after gazing at my vintage Sub. Must be some sort of affliction me thinks

Just for pure enjoyment. We have so many ways to tell time. And I would say that most people just use their phones.

I do once in a while look to see for new scratches.

Frequently wanting to know what time it is will do it for me, too.

When i get up to leave the office, in the darker corridor I love to look down at my wrist to see the hands and dots glowing brightly. It's like I am hypnotized by it.

What is your watch's best feature that fills you with the feeling of 'yeah, Rolex on my wrist' ?
This is an interesting question. For many, Rolex is just a watch and is used for tracking time. For me, I do use my Rolex watches to keep track of time but they are also a mass produced, precision engineered, mechanical marvel. I find myself looking at my watch and seeing the fit and finish, the classic style, durability, and the accurate reliability. As far as collecting Rolex watches as a hobby I can enjoy my hobby at any given moment in the day, sitting in traffic, a stressful time in work, standing in a long line, I can glance down at my watch check the time, enjoy my hobby for a few moments, "yeah Rolex on my wrist".

I really love the lume on my ExpII. It's amazing against the white dial. I love how it subtlety changes as you walk through varying degrees of brightness in a room

Great picture. I always enjoy lume shots. The only thing missing from my DDII but I don't know where they could applied it. There is nothing like Sub lume!

I love the white dial on my ExpII, especially when the light hits it at a certain angle.

I can completely relate. Ever since I got my TT sub with sunburst dial, every time I'm driving, my eyes keep getting drawn to it, I just can't get enough of it!

mostly to check the time. always love walking in from outdoors into a dark area and be surprised by that beautiful blue lume (which on a ND sub C looks crisp n clear), and also the 3, 6, 9, markers on my 36mm explorer never cease to attract mine eyes.

This probably sounds weird but I like to glance at myself wearing the watch when I'm out passing by mirrors or reflections on the windows at the mall. Haha I appreciate the watch as a part of me rather than a separate object. Haha and yeah, I see myself and the watch with my hand in my pocket and go, "oh yeah who's that cool guy in the mirror?!"

Not to hijack the thread but CONGRATULATIONS, Brad! You'll never look at 12:33 the same way again!
