Nothing on export, check HM Customs for import duties.

VAT and custom charges, to the NL this add's up to a good 30% of the value as established by the Customs. The UK will not be too much different I suppose. Easiest is to fly to the US and bring it home on your wrist.

I'm unsure about the accuracy of the source, but this is what dutycalculator.com states :
he import duty rate for importing Second hand watch into United Kingdom is 4.5%, subject to minimum of €0.30 per piece, subject to maximum of €0.80 per piece , the import VAT is 20%, when classified under Jewellery & Watches → Watches of other materials → Pocket / Fob Watch with HS commodity code 9102.99.0000 Source : http://m.dutycalculator.com/dc/82261...nd-watch-is-0/ |

PMed you what I could gather from other places as well. It seems to be in line with the approx 5% import duty and 20% vat rule.
