I think that externally, the 25860 and 26300s are very similar and both have 39mm cases. I'd say they identical, but think that there may be a 1mm difference in the size of the case at the "lugs." 26300 owners can confirm or refute this but my width at the lugs for my 25860 is 26mm, and I think that the 26300 may be 27mm. My City of Sails rubber strap is 27/18 and just a hair too big (I trimmed it down). Bracelet links may be harder to come by for the older 25860. I'm pretty sure mine is 16mm and when I ordered a 1.5 link this summer from AP, I've been told that I won't get it until after the new year.
