Speedmaster 1039 bracelet
Hey all,
is it possible to define the timespan in which it was fitted to the Speedy? Prices have gone up a lot recently and I'm wondering if it's really that rare. Thanks for your input! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It's not that they are rare but in decent condition and full links. Remember, these have spring links on both sides and usually get misplaced or worn out after 40 years. I had 2 from 67 in great shape and got full asking price due to condition

Hi,
The 1039/ 516 was used from about mid 1966-72 on Speedmasters. I found this link on the web that notes almost all bracelet combinations for Speedmaster and Seamasters. I hope this helps. RCAFBuster http://issuu.com/mstanga/docs/tab_br...ga_ultima.xls# |

I stumbled on the link by pure chance, and the information is valuable when collecting vintage timepieces. It is important to have the correct band/ endlinks for the money paid.

Great info. Thanks a bunch!
I was just curious, since Speedy prices have gone up a lot. Even more so if you try to find one on a 1039. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The trick is to have your 1039 buckle stamped with the same year as your Speedy!

What is a mint condition 1039 bracelet with 516 end pieces worth in US Dollars?
