Speedmaster 1039 bracelet

Hey all,

is it possible to define the timespan in which it was fitted to the Speedy?

Prices have gone up a lot recently and I'm wondering if it's really that rare.

Thanks for your input!

It's not that they are rare but in decent condition and full links. Remember, these have spring links on both sides and usually get misplaced or worn out after 40 years. I had 2 from 67 in great shape and got full asking price due to condition

Hi,

The 1039/ 516 was used from about mid 1966-72 on Speedmasters. I found this link on the web that notes almost all bracelet combinations for Speedmaster and Seamasters. I hope this helps. RCAFBuster

I stumbled on the link by pure chance, and the information is valuable when collecting vintage timepieces. It is important to have the correct band/ endlinks for the money paid.

Great info. Thanks a bunch!

I was just curious, since Speedy prices have gone up a lot. Even more so if you try to find one on a 1039.

The trick is to have your 1039 buckle stamped with the same year as your Speedy!

That seems to be even more difficult.

What is a mint condition 1039 bracelet with 516 end pieces worth in US Dollars?
