GMT II - Suddenly change in accuracy
I have the 16710 (non-ceramic) GMT II and it's always been 4 sec slow each day.
Suddenly, it's been +5 sec fast each day. Anyone else seen this behaviour with the watch. What would cause that? Thanks. |

I don't know what could cause that but sometimes i exprerience the same thing with my watch with the exception that my watch does not lose time consistently. For example it loses 3 seconds in a night and after that it does not lose any seconds for 10 days or so and then it just gains those 3 seconds back in one night
I don't think that you should worry cause you are within the COSC standards which are -4 +6

Maybe it is just trying to catch up with itself.

Is there any mechanical reason this would happen? I was expecting feedback along that line. Thanks, Greg
