I have the same feelings and I do not wear my YG DJ to the office daily. However, I do wear it three or four days a month and the specialness does not wear off. I wear the watch with a high visibility work shirt and the conservative size and style does not draw attention. Well, that's a lie. People notice it like nothing else. I'm often asked to take it off so they can try it on. This happens with men and women equally. The reaction is always the same--WOW! Wear it like a boss and you'll be good.

I like it on you. It wouldn't fit in with my style.

Flashy? Yes.
But it's a great looking watch, so enjoy it.

And don't worry about the car vs. watch debate. My watch now is easily worth 2-3x my car. And I've got a TT watch. The car is a rusted out Chevy.

An absolutely beautiful watch, but I'm a low key guy. So for you, wear it, but it's a bit flashy for me.

It looks awesome with anything. As long as I have been a Rolex fan,I see very few 18k DJ's as most people tend to go the DD route. You have a real beauty there that is rarely seen in the wild.Big Congrats,

I think it looks great. YG datejusts also relatively rare. Insure it and wear the heck out of it!

I honestly would not wear Yellow or Rose gold as a daily unless I was in A position to wear the suit to boot.
Wore one very similar to that one every day for 28 years. Loved it. Now I wear a YG DD every day. I don't even own a suit anymore. Wear what makes YOU happy.

Beautiful watch. I think this one is my favorite gold watch that Rolex makes.

To the OP, wear it like a boss and you can pull it off with no problem.

It depends on where your are. Most places I go, I am completely comfortable with YG. I won't wear gold if I am going to a third world country or the inner city (common senses).

I have had a few YG watches in the past and recently bought this at my dealer. I'm still on the fence.

Is this too flashy to wear daily? Especially considering its worth more than my daily driver!

Let's vote! Thoughts? Too tacky? Just right?

Upgrade the DD, or make the weekender more daily.

Watch looks gorgeous.
