What discount to expect on a WG Daytona with the meteorite dial?

I'm looking to purchase a white gold daytona with the meteorite and roman dial.

What kind of discount should I expect to get off?

I kid you not My local AD just had one on sale at 40% off. It had a brown strap. I would have them change it to black and snatch that up. If I wasn't already commited to another time piece I was thinking about buying it. Call Hyde Park jewelers in Phoenix AZ. Talk to Eric. Tell him Ken Bryant sent you.

I don't see them new at rolex ads anymore. So on the used market for latest spec (clasp, Rehaut engraging, etc) I would expect to pay 28k for a perfect unpolished example with braclet , 17k for strap

With bracelet, new ones list at 41,700 USD. I don't do straps so don't know their pricing. Keep in mind that new meteorite dials list for 5500 USD. That is just the dial, not the watch!!!.

Pre-owned, well it depends on if it is the newer models with the easy glide clasp, or the older models with the old clasp. In general, new WG meteorite Daytonas are relatively rare; I searched on Chrono24 2 days ago and they had none listed (with bracelets).

As to discounts from an AD, it depends on the AD, and your negotiating skills.

I don't have a relationship with any AD since I bought my only Rolex a GMT 2c from Ron at Morre Lyons back in 2010 and was told he's retired now.

Oh it was a great lead and thanks!!! Someone just pulled the trigger on it roughly a week ago.....Thanks again!

And as far as what to pay....heres a link to a site that has the list and the discount....I have not dealt with them...nor do I know if they are legitimate I am just posting this for a comparison between the list and price they are offering, which I think is high

This is a bargain for the price. .. the dial alone is worth thousands
