Would a 14kt yellow Gold OP from the 60's come on a strap?

No one has been able to tell me for certain how these old 34mm Oyster Perpetuals were sold back in the day.

Thanks!

yep, straps were appropriate. Bracelets and straps were dealer options back in those days

Besides being installed by a dealer, leather straps were available directly from Rolex when new and are listed in the Rolex Master Catalogs as an option for this watch along with the gold bracelet.

Thanks folks.

I will look to see if I can find a catalog.

In the meantime, might anyone have a pic of an appropriate gold bracelet?

I would eventually like to get a period correct bracelet - or strap/buckle combo.

That's what I meant, available separately as a Rolex oem option

Few different band options and in 14kt or 18kt. 18kt being more rare. Some of them came in a oval link bracelet. Pretty rare but still around.

Thanks again everyone. Those are gorgeous examples. The watch in question has no date. The hands are similar to Dr. smellody's watch but the markers come to a point nearest the center of the dial. I'll try to find a photo.

I think an authentic Rolex strap & buckle will easier to find...
