Thanks Ken.
It was my first write up, and I don't think I'm any good at it. But perpetual88 gave me the nudge to do it, and I was inspired by the material I was working with. Cheers, Dan

Congrats! I've owned this same model for about six months now, and absolutely love it. In my humble opinion it's the perfect all-around watch. Beautiful, comfortable, not too big (the bane of the modern sports watch,) face takes on different shades in different light, silky bracelet, a little funky, and fits a casual or formal occasion with equal aplomb. Before I saw one in person, I thought wanted an AP 15300, but once I handled a 5711 at the AD, much to my wallet's dismay, my fate was sealed.
Now, the real question is, do you pass this on to future generations someday, or demand to be buried with it? |

Your comments are right on target although given that I have had my for only a couple of days. Same as you I thought I would first go for the AP and decided it would be best to get this one. Since my wife knows how much it costs chance are since I will go first, I am only taking care of it for the next generation.

Hi Dan,
I enjoy reading your review of this beautiful timepiece and I am currently considering getting it but I have one concern, is this a hairlines magnet on the dial and bracelet? How was your experience after 2 years? Hope to hear from you. Cheers! |
