Not the best video, but it'll do. I had to rip it from a dvd and for some reason the very beginning is cut off and at the end it starts over. You don't miss much in the beginning, though.

By the way, the date is wrong, it actually took place on 3/27/08!

Thanks! I will definatly keep you all posted with my progress. I did another open mic at a different club this last Friday, and it went really well, also. Both times I had other comedians that couldn't believe I was so new. I won't be posting a video of my econd open mic as the crowd was very small and tough, so there wasn't as much laughter as the first.

Also, yes, Sean, I was referring to my notes a few times. I just had an outline with the basic topics of my jokes. What that does is get me back on track immediatly when I zone out.

Anyway, if anyone is in the tampa bay are and wants to check it out, let me know. Also, both clubs I;ve performed at have a deal where if you come for the open mic you get to stay for the headliners at no additional charge.

Thanks everyone! I learned alot that night. I am working on giving it alot more energy and emotion. I did a different club, Coconuts in Clearwater last friday, and was invited back to do 20 minutes tomorrow night. Both times I performed, I had other comedians ask if it was really my 1st/2nd time, and they were surprised to hear that it was!

I have to admit, I feel like I've found my calling! I love performing, I love making people laugh, and I feel more "at home" on stage than I do in my office.

And, a public apology to Dwelly for calling him a fake, but hey, that's show business. The joke wouldn't work if I said he was real
