Cyclops

I have a question for you all..

I know we are all aware that our watches are tools to be used, but even so we do like to keep the crystal free from smudges. When doing this though you tend to get a small ring round the Cyclops. Now I do know this shouldn't bother me and it will be removed in the shower, but I was wondering if anyone has any tips on wiping you watch without getting this or quick ways to remove it?

Please don't think me to be too obsessive I know it doesn’t really matter, but come it's my Rolex and well............you know

That is one of the reasons I bought a Dweller.
That cyclops is a salt and sand magnet.
The old Dwellers also had an oval crystal , so when you bumped into a shroud or other obstruction while under sail it didn't take a chip out of the hard edge of the crystal
on a Sub.

My Sub ND doesn't have one, so I don't have to worry about it

LUCKY! Well I would run it under water and just try not focusing on the cyclops too much. At least everything around it is clean!

Crud, can't delete my post. I was posting the same thing that Gary said. Didn't realize someone covered this already. But I will say that is the best and quickest way. Cheers.

I'm a huge cyclops fan. Cleaning around it is a small price to pay for the iconic Rolex symbol. That, and it helps these soon to be 49 year old eyes see the date.
