Intresting day....Converted!

Such a funny set of circumstances led to this....

Long story short, I am a Panerai guy, love the stuff, and went with my buddy to pick up his Air King which was getting polished at the AD.

Out of the corner of my eye a particular piece caught my attention, and unfortunatly, I had my wallet on me.

Let me say this, my father gave me a OysterQuartz Gold President when I graduated from high school, which was given to him by my grandfather as a "what the hell I'm loaded" present. I have liked Rolex watches, but always seemed to cliche for me, like a car lover saying "i love ferrari", who doesnt love ferraris.

So, I picked up a little happy April present for myself, a brand new....

My Dads gift to me

And the dynamic duo

What a piece, just love it!

Look forward to hanging around for a while.

Welcome to TRF, you're off to a fabulous start with a Sea-Dweller, also known affectionately in these parts as Dwelly. Congratulations!

Well done! Congrats!

Hang on to that SD 'cos it won't be produced for much longer and is destined for 'Classic-hood'! Long live the SD!!

Wish I'd bought one...

The OQ DD is a great watch, very rare in the wild, and the SD is a great daily watch to wear too! Now you can get that DD serviced to look almost new, so you have a really dressy watch to wear for more formal occasions!
