Pics from a new lens!

Mods, if you'd rather this thread appear in the Picture and Video Gallery, please feel free to move them!

Hey all, I was playing aroud with the new macro lens that arrived not long ago. Having fun trying out aperture, ISO, shutter speeds, and depth-of-field, etc. Never had one of these before, its a hoot! Tell me what you think?

The watch photos: At first you can see some shadowing of the flash, made by the lens itself as the flash was the camera built-in one. So, I bounced the flash's light with a sheet of paper I grabbed up, and got a very interesting effect. Also included are a shot of some sunglasses, and a big dot of pollen I found on the rail of the new deck.

I didn't expect to get good results whilst fooling around, hence the unpolished stuff I shot. Hope you enjoy, I can't wait to practice & learn more.

Did someone say macro?

I've been having fun with a set of extension tubes and the good old Nifty Fifty.

Eeeww, don't you ever clean your watch James? And how come the crown is aligned again?

Seriously, that is awesome, I can only dream of getting that clear of a shot.
