1993 Rolex Datejust

Hello,

I'm new to the forum so please let me know if this is posted in the wrong section.

With my 21st birthday coming up I was looking at some DJ's from my birth year of 1993.
I came across this one, and it looked authentic, coming from a reputable watch shop, and with box and papers.

However, I have just noticed on the dial that the roman numeral IV is used instead of IIII. Am I right in thinking this is an indication of this watch being fake? or do you find the occasional model with IV.

Thanks for any help,

Zaheer.

As long as that's what shows up in the mail, you are good... everything on this watch adds up and looks correct

Don't worry about the IV being IIII is very common in watches in general. I guess is because IV and V are very easy to confuse. But I've noticed it too before.
