NATO band

Hello all,

Love the forum and have been reading for a long time. You all are so knowledgeable and helpful.

I am close to purchasing a Sub and prefer the NATO band over the SS. Where can I purchase an authentic NATO band and can the AD install it for me?

Hi, you can find them on ebay like here

not sure where else, I am sure any watchmaker could do it for you as its a relatively easy job

Welcome to TRF from a member just across the Ohio river. Not sure where to get a NATO but I doubt your AD will install it. Rolex USA demands originality and they don't take kindly to aftermarket changes. If you have a good relationship with your AD they might be willing.
Good luck,
dP

Just take a look at this site.
http://www.gnomonwatches.com
And there's also a good tutorial on how to use it
I bought a black one for 14 + 5 (S&H). Good hardware. My 5513 looks great!!!
Cheers

Not sure what AD you might be shopping at in Cincinnati. Since my sales territory includes Ohio, I tried to buy a Rolex at James Free Jewelers in Montgomery and Dayton, but could not get a discount on a Sub Date. It may be worth your while to travel to Louisville and shop at Davis Jewelers. Best wishes.

I wear a NATO on my Sub and I got mine from http://www.timefactors.com/index.html

I would highly recommend Eddie from Timefactors, he is great to deal with. I love my NATO bands.

You can install them yourself with little effort.

BTW, make sure to pick up at least one "Bond NATO" it looks GREAT on the Submariner
