SCAMMERS using email with slight variation
Recent fraud activity has scaled 10 times on the forums.
This is a cautionary note for each of you to be careful and read and then re read the emails you get in your inbox. In recent times there have been several attempts to harm my good name where the scammer uses an email alias similar to mine with a slight twist... AGAIN my email is THESAINT2009 and I DO NOT use any other communication method !! While I posted several warning messages across the forums, people do get mislead and fall for the scum bags. Again when dealing with anyone, pick up the phone and at least have one phone conversation and then use the forum IM system to communicate. Its a dangerous world out there and we all have to be careful of such scams. |

I agree with thesaint2009 it is getting worse in the last couple of weeks.
For all the buyers! Please read the email adresses twice before taking any actions. Nowadays Scammers use slight variations of our emails adresses and it can be easily mislead. I had a numerous emails from people who got contacted by scammer using similar email adress I use. It is getting worse and worse. The only weapon is to be really really careful. I USE FOLLOWING EMAIL ADRESSES FIRST IS MY OLDER jaklandiamonds@yahoo.com AND THE SECOND IS NEW ONE WHICH I USE MORE FREQUENTLY jakublwatches@gmail.com Be careful of the variants such as ''jaklandaimonds@yahoo.com'' or ''jaklandiamond@yahoo.com'' and there may be other variants. Nowadays scammers are attacking even by attaching some photos in email that when you click on they steal your password etc. |

SCAMMERS using email with slight variation
There are now apps that allow a scammer to mimic your actual email address as an alias the "from" field. Then when one replies to the scammer, it forwards directly to their real email address.
So reading the "from" field carefully will afford you about 50% safety. It is best is to view the full header on the email so you can see source server and path - including true email addy. Hope that helps some who haven't seen the worst yet.

Don't put your e-mail in the FS ad to minimize the risk of being approached by scammers.
Most of the members get scammer mails because they include their e-mail address in their ads. First contact should always be through PM. |

give it a rest already, you sound like an annoying broken record. No need to interject your agenda in every goddamn thread.

Which has been proven by other TRF members testimonial who sell there without issue. Don't understand why you can't seem to grasp this concept. Good and bad on every site, just do your homework before you shell out your $...
